The math is simple at this point. No Mendy or Jude for this one which means that Fran and Brahim will probably start. Carvajal most likely starts as well since he’s suspended for the Bayern game. 3 points will bring Los Blancos even closer to the La Liga title. Sociedad meanwhile are fighting to keep their Europa league spot.
Courtois could play against Cadiz.
Just like Militao, Courtois is close to making a comeback as well and could see some game time before the season ends. That would make it an amazing recovery from his ACL tear before the season even began. Lunin has done remarkably well in the Belgian’s absence and Los Blancos are in good shape in La Liga and the UCL, thanks in no small part to his efforts in goal. There could be a scenario where Courtois could take over if he sees action against Cadiz and does well. That would feel like a bit of injustice to Lunin who has brought us this far but ultimately Carlo will have to go with the better goalkeeper. Have your say in the poll question below.
