Fede Valverde once again played a vital role in Real Madrid’s 3 – 2 win over Alaves at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
Valverde, back to his RCM role as Aurelien Tchouameni resumed defensive midfielder duties, formed a great right-sided partnership with Lucas Vazquez who played right-back. Valverde, in his 68 minutes on the field, had 72 touches and five interceptions. His long range diagonal switch was instrumental in Real Madrid’s first goal of the game
