Real Madrid face Chelsea on the last matchday of the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage and will fight for the first place in Group B in the last home game of 2024.
On the first matchday of the group stage, the white club lost against Chelsea 3-2 which remains their only loss in the UWCL so far. On the other side, Chelsea haven’t lost all season, as they also occupy the first place in group B winning all 15 points so far. The London team has not lost a single match this season, winning all of their games until the draw against Leicester this weekend.
“This type of match needs high focus. It’s the elite and we have to focus on being very attentive, doing good defensive work as a whole and, from there, we have enough quality to do damage and generate danger for them. It’s going to be a difficult, complicated match, against a very powerful opponent, but so are we. We have a very good line, with important growth every day of players and we are going to go for the three points and try to finish first,” Alberto Toril speaks at the press conference ahead of the match against Chelsea.
