NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 5824.24 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 4509.28 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 4016.31 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 3330.61 crore), NBCC (Rs. 2305.91 crore), KEC Int.(Rs. 1905.10 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1865.35 crore), SBI(Rs. 1483.47 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1399.46 crore) and Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1346.09 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 99.61 points up at 25151.95, while BSE Sensex rose 349.05 points to 82134.61.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 4.39 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.46 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.39 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.38 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.25 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
