Aurelien Tchouameni should be ‘ready’ to feature for the first time in Euro 2024 against the Netherlands on Friday — in France’s second game of the group stage — according to a report from Relevo.

Tchouameni has been training alone for the majority of the time so far, but he completed part of the session with the rest of his teammates on Saturday, a couple of days before France’s opening group game vs Austria.

Tchouameni will not play against Austria, but it looks likely that he will get at least a few minutes against the Netherlands.

Tchouameni has not featured for France or Real Madrid since sustaining a stress injury in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

The report also states that Kylian Mbappe — who trained alone on Thursday — is now fully fit and will feature against Austria to kick off France’s Euro campaign. Mbappe came off the bench in France’s last pre-Euro friendly vs Canada because of a back issue, but according to the report, Mbappe will start for Les Blues.
