UPDATED: The first medical explorations indicate that Camavinga has escaped a serious injury. Still ‘questionable’ for the Final against Atalanta.
Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga left the team’s training session ahead of Wednesday’s European Supercup Final in serious pain. The midfielder stayed on the ground holding his knee for quite some time and also screamed in pain after colliding with Aurelien Tchouameni. Camavinga slowly got up and left the field while limping.

While Camavinga’s teammates and everyone involved were visibly shocked, the fact that he wasn’t too slow while leaving the field could bring some optimism and it looks like Camavinga could’ve escaped a serious knee injury.
More information about the extend of this injury should be known soon and this piece will be updated accordingly.
