In a recent Instagram clip shared by Managing Madrid, Kiyan Sobhani and Lucas Navarrete discuss Real Madrid’s center-back situation for next season. (The full episode, over 40 minutes long, can be found here.)
David Alaba reportedly will not return until 2025, as his post-surgery recovery is not going as swiftly as hoped. That could mean that for the majority of the season, Real Madrid’s only center-backs will be Eder Militao, Antonio Rüdiger, and Leny Yoro (if he signs with the club this summer). Jesus Vallejo is currently part of the roster, but he may not stay. Does that mean Real Madrid need more than just Yoro? Will we see a lot of Aurelien Tchouameni at center-back?:
What do you think? Is signing just Leny Yoro enough if Alaba is not returning until 2025? Let us know your thoughts on the above video.
