Endrick is going to wear number 16 for Real Madrid, according to a report from AS.
Endrick, whose much-awaited presentation will happen on Saturday, 27 July, has decided to take 16 as his kit number for the upcoming season, and there is a reason for it.
Endrick began his professional career with the number 16, so it does make sense for him to do the same at Real Madrid, where 12 and 24 were the only other outfield numbers available.
The expectation is to see him wear his new number in front of the Bernabeu during his presentation, although that is not confirmed in the report.
It remains to be seen how big of a role Endrick will end up having at Real Madrid. Obviously, he will need time to adapt to European football. However, it is worth noting that he does have a lot of super-sub qualities that make him a viable option off the bench, especially with Joselu’s departure.
