Eligibility
Essential Qualifications (As per UGC / PU norms) :
A Master ‘s degree in Human Rights and Duties with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped candidates) an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC.
Desirable Qualifications:
The candidate should have Ph. D in Human Rights & Duties or experience in teaching Postgraduate classes in human rights.
How to Apply?
Duly filled hard copy of the application form be submitted on 09.09.2024 by 4:30 p.m. at O/o Chairperson, Centre for Human Rights and Duties. Late applications will not be considered and will stand rejected. Verification of the original documents of the candidates along with photocopies of the same will be done at the time of interview.
At the time of interview (physical presence of the candidate is mandatory). The candidates are required to bring all the supporting documents/certificates/publications in original. Candidates are required to report at 10:30 a.m. sharp on the date of interview at O/o Chairperson, Centre for Human Rights and Duties.
The candidates are advised to keep checking the Panjab University and CHRD noticeboard for further updates. The candidates shall have to give an undertaking that he/she will not draw any fellowship/ stipend or any financial assistance from any agency till they are teaching at Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University, Chandigarh as a Guest Faculty.
Salary
Rs.1500 per lecture basis with the ceiling of Rs.50, 000 per month.
Duration
Odd Semester 2024-25 (*Extendable as per Panjab University Norms/ Rules).
