The Hotels business of ITC Ltd. was demerged into ITC Hotels Ltd. with effect from January 1, 2025. The equity shares of the company listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India Limited and BSE Limited on January 29 this year.
In the preceding three months ended March 31, ITC Hotels had reported revenue from operations of Rs 1061 crore, and a profit of Rs 258 crore. The April to June quarter is typically a leaner quarter for hotel chains.
The hospitality chain said during the quarter ended June 30, 2025, the board approved a capital expenditure of Rs 328 crore for construction of a hotel in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
On a standalone basis, ITC Hotels reported revenue from operations of Rs 744 crore for the quarter ended June, up 15% year on year. The chain reported a standalone profit of Rs 150 crore for the quarter ended June, up 47% year on year.
ITC Hotels said previously it had 54 signings and 30 hotel openings in the last two years and that it has a ‘robust pipeline’ across brands. It currently operates over 140 hotels with over 13,300 keys, with an owned and managed keys mix of 42% and 58% respectively. By 2030, the chain aims to have 220 hotels, with over 20,000 keys, targeting an owned- managed keys mix of 30% and 70% respectively. ITC Hotels said earlier it has over 400 rooms being planned under owned hotels, with a greenfield project at Puri and expansion planned in Bhubaneshwar. It has a new 200 key hotel planned at Vizag. In the managed hotels segment, it has a pipeline of 49 managed hotels with over 4300 keys, and a 2.5x growth targeted in management fees by financial year 2030.
