What are some good things about your college?
My law school boasts of an excellent faculty, and beyond that, it actively organizes a variety of events for students. Additionally, the institution has established diverse clubs, including the Social Justice Club, Constitutional Law Club, and Forensic Science and Law Club.
Are there any bad things about your college?
It’s important to acknowledge the drawbacks of our law school. The infrastructure leaves room for improvement, and the workload is notably demanding, allowing students minimal respite. Prospective students should consider the need for strong mental resilience before enrolling in the law school.
How has your experience in your college been till now?
My journey has been a mix; the initial years were overwhelming with a barrage of internal exams, presentations, and term papers, but as time passed, it became more manageable. Representing the law school in national moot court competitions across different parts of the country stands out as a rewarding aspect of my experience. Moreover, the enjoyable events have significantly contributed to shaping my overall experience.
How’s the faculty at your college?
The faculty is exceptionally strong, with well-qualified members who consistently prepare lectures in advance. Additionally, they are highly accommodating, going out of their way to assist students facing dilemmas and providing support in every possible manner.

How’s the infrastructure of your college?
The infrastructure at our law school is okay, not top-notch. We have decent classrooms, a reading room, library, moot court, and a spacious playground. But there’s room for improvement because the limited space makes it hard to accommodate new students effectively.

How’s your hostel experience?
I live near the law school, so I did not need to avail the hostel facility. It is pertinent to mention that the university doesn’t provide the hostel facility. The students from far flung areas are forced to look for private accommodation which is quite highly priced.

How are your peers?
My peers are exceptional individuals, and forming new connections was effortless. We clicked from day one, fostering a great bond that goes beyond just intellectual compatibility; emotionally, they are supportive and understanding. It has significantly enriched my overall experience at the law school.

How are the placements in your college?
The absence of a placement system in the law school is a significant drawback. It is imperative for the university to urgently address this gap. The introduction of a placement program is not only a dire need but also a pivotal step towards ensuring that students feel more secure and prepared for their future professional endeavors.

How are the co-curricular activities in your college?
The law school organizes a spectrum of co-curricular engagements, encompassing sports such as football and cricket, culturally enriching events that shed light on the diverse heritage of our nation, and scholarly workshops that contribute to the academic environment.

What are some of the things you’d advise to a 1st-year student who enters your college?
New students must prepare themselves mentally for the substantial academic workload that the law school will assign. Given that these newcomers often transition directly from school, there might be a misconception about college being leisurely. However, it’s crucial to emphasize that college is stringent about attendance. Falling below 75% results in being barred from the examination hall and accumulating backlogs, causing frustration. Work diligently, but also take some time for yourself.
