Matchday!
So we face Real Valladolid today. Carlo confirmed he’d put the best XI possible to win the game. So, likely there won’t be rotations.
Carlo commented that Tchouameni is ready – so I think he will start this one. Per Carlo, Camavinga will be ready soon, like next week.
Is Vazquez out of the game?
Early report indicated Vazquez was injured, but apparently tests have shown only a small contracture. I guess Valverde continues at RB, which is a good thing.
Marca reported stats that other teams also see our right side as a liability:
Since Carvajal’s injury, 90% of opposing teams target the right side of Real Madrid’s defense, viewing it as the most vulnerable area. Their new tactic is: attack Lucas Vázquez.

True, it is not totally on Vazquez, because many times the right side CB was Tchoaumeni, another one playing out of position and vulnerable to mistakes.
Carlo on Ceballos
He was asked about Ceballos form and if in important games Carlo will play with 4 midfielders.
Ceballos has played very well during this period. He is back to his best level, after having many problems and also considering that I often did not give him the necessary minutes to recover form. With him, the team is more secure in the control of the ball, in possession. In important games, I don’t have to take any one out, he can also play with the forwards we have. Why not?
