Kylian Mbappe played his first home match as a madridista this Sunday, and while it wasn’t his best performance, the Frenchman was visibly happy when he talked to the club’s official TV channel after the game.
“We wanted to win the first game, we’re delighted and we just want more. Playing in this stadium is a dream come true, but we now have a game on Thursday and we want to win again,” said Mbappe when asked about the win against Valladolid.
The Frenchman also shared his thoughts about playing his first minutes as a Real Madrid player in front of the Bernabeu faithful.
“It was a great moment, I’m very happy to have started at the Bernabéu with a win and the three points. It was a great night. The fans were great. Thanks to everyone for this moment, for supporting the team and me,” he added.
