Real Madrid announced that defender Lucas Vazquez has suffered a hamstring injury, one which will force him to miss Tuesday’s match against Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League’s Round of 32.
After the tests carried out today on our player Lucas Vázquez by the Medical Services of Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the hamstring of his left leg. He is out for the squad for the match in Manchester. Pending evolution.

This is yet another injury for Los Blancos’ defensive line, which will be without Militao, Alaba, Rudiger, Carvajal and now Vazquez as well.
Fede Valverde will be expected to start on the right flank of the defensive line, with Camavinga and Ceballos likely deployed in the midfield.
Real Madrid will have to survive that first leg in order to make sure they can advance to the next round.
