Valyrian’s thoughts on the Club’s transfer strategy
Luck played a huge in last year’s campaign. Looking back it’s a miracle that the team survived 2 ACL injuries among other multiple injuries and still went on to win a UCL La Liga double. The squad was lacking but we still won. Players stepped up. The coach stepped up. Fans who had doubts about the squad and coach were proven wrong.
Now the club appears to be sticking to the same play book hoping that things will work out again. I don’t necessarily agree with this. Wait it out — transfer window is long. Real Madrid has 23 squad members now and that number may slightly decrease in the next month. There are center-back alternatives. Personally think you still needed one other CB in addition to Yoro. Don’t think they’ll stand pat.
