NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 214.39 crore), HDFC Bank(numbers of share traded: 22.27 crore), Inventure Grwth(numbers of share traded: 18.48 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 12.17 crore), Shree Ren Sug(numbers of share traded: 11.32 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 11.14 crore), Bandhan Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.99 crore), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar(numbers of share traded: 8.89 crore), Oil India Ltd(numbers of share traded: 7.94 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 7.51 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 83.96 points up at 25235.9, while BSE Sensex ended up 231.16 points at 82365.77.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 0.50 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
