Brahim Diaz has really impressed every single time he has been given an opportunity to play this season. The game Ancelotti has designed suits the diminutive forward by allowing him the freedom to show his ability in attack while being part of a stable defensive structure on the other side of the ball. I, for one, have been pleasantly surprised by how effective he has been and long may it continue.

Brahim’s form has not gone unnoticed by La Furia Roja coach De La Fuente and it seems he is waiting for a call from Spain before choosing which country to represent. With the African Nations Cup around the corner, the decision will have to be made sooner rather than later.

If the club is happy with Carlo’s work then what does it matter about when the Supercopa is played? Is the thinking that he needs to win another trophy to get the renewal? And what if he doesn’t, you seal his fate before knowing whether or not he will win the Liga or UCL? Makes no sense whatsoever. Nonetheless.. Someone will be waiting in vain.
