Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(down 4.13%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 1.84%) and Reliance Power Ltd.(down 0.34%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 385.0 points up at 21737.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 1240.9 points at 71941.57.
Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 7.89%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 7.02%), Coal India Ltd.(up 6.01%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 5.92%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.4%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.85%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.6%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 3.45%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 3.41%) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.19%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 2.4%), ITC Ltd.(down 1.29%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.85%), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.75%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.65%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.59%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.5%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.25%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.24%) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.21%) closed in the red.
