NEW DELHI: Shares of Tube Investments of India Ltd. traded 4.15 per cent down in Tuesday’s trade at 02:11PM (IST). Around 9,703 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 3869.95 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3869.95 and Rs 3710.6, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Tube Investments of India Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3869.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 2375.05.

The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 3946.14 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 3.21 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 3823.42 crore and up 3.23 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 3822.83 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 214.97 crore, up 10.49 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

As of 30-Sep-2023, domestic institutional investors held 9.14 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 30.42 per cent and the promoters 46.11 per cent.
Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 76.26 and a price-to-book ratio of 12.43. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
