Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti received some good news yesterday when Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy completed their recovery, meaning that they both will be available when Los Blancos visit Real Sociedad this Saturday. On the other hand, midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is still questionable for that game after leaving France’s training camp with pain on his foot, the same area which forced him to miss the last few games of the 2023-24 season.
If Tchouameni can’t play, Ancelotti will have to restructure his midfield line, given that Eduardo Camavinga is still out with the knee injury he picked up ahead of the European Supercup a month ago. Fede Valverde could be the team’s pivot, with players like Modric and Arda Güler likely deployed alongside him.
Real Madrid have had some bad luck with injuries early this season, but they will have to survive a few more games.
